We guided them through the challenges posed by zoning ordinances, local historic district standards, and the tight dimensions of the lot itself to create a charming Craftsman-style bungalow. Inside, an open kitchen/living/dining room with a vaulted ceiling gives a spacious feel to the cozy home, which checks in at just under 1,000 square feet. The house blends so beautifully with its century-old neighbors that passersby often assume this new build is a renovated historic home.
